Excellence and quality improvement

Want to do more than meet standards?
Need a whole-of-organisation approach?
Looking for independent recognition?

Working to standards and regulatory requirements takes you so far. Many organisations wish to create a culture of improvement, with a common language and framework across all its programs and activities. To do this well, an organisation builds its capacity for systems thinking.

You can work with Community Link to enhance your culture and capacity for improving what you do, and to –

  • Invest in the skills of your people in terms of quality improvement and business excellence models
  • Undertake an in-house assessment of the current state of your systems and processes
  • Frame up an improvement plan and undertake improvement projects
  • Create a cycle of continuous learning and improvement in your organisation.

Community Link can offer a tailored set of training and consultancy services, linked in to commonly used excellence models, to assist you in this regard. Alternatively, through our RTO partner, we can offer you accredited training in the form of a Vocational Graduate Certificate in Community Service Quality Improvement. This involves a combination of coursework and practical learning projects done over nine to twelve months. The structure of the course is as follows -

  • VBQU 470 Support a climate within the organisation to pursue an excellence model
  • VBQU 471 Design the self assessment of the organisation
  • VBQU 472 Manage the self assessment
  • VBQU 473 Generate a quality improvement plan
